Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

When you sign in to Ravu these Terms become a binding agreement between you and us. They also apply to future versions of the app and to features added later.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Ravu; because the app includes social features, if you are under 16 you need the consent of a parent or guardian. Anyone whose account was closed for breaching these Terms may not open a new one.

3. Account and sign-in providers

You sign in to Ravu only with Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google; there is no separate Ravu password. You are responsible for the security of your Apple/Google account, and everything done through your Ravu account is attributed to you. One person may hold only one account and may not transfer it to anyone else.

Your username and display name may not impersonate someone else, contain insults or infringe a trademark. We reserve the right to change unsuitable usernames.

4. User content: licence and rules

You keep ownership of the content you share, such as posts, replies, messages and images ("Content"). By sharing Content you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable and non-transferable licence to use it solely to provide the service (storing it, showing it to other users, generating previews, backing it up). The licence ends when you delete the Content or close your account, and continues for a reasonable period only for copies remaining in backups and for the anonymised chat messages and replies described in the Privacy Policy.

The following content and behaviour are prohibited:

• Harassment, bullying, threats or demeaning a specific person.
• Hate speech on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar grounds.
• Sexual content, nudity and content glorifying violence.
• Spam, repetitive promotion, misleading links and malware.
• Impersonating another person, an organisation or the Ravu team.
• Sharing other people's personal data without permission.
• Content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property rights.
• Using the app for any unlawful purpose or to defraud others.

5. Reporting and moderation

Every post, message and profile can be reported from inside the app, and you can block other users. Reports are reviewed within a reasonable time. We may remove content that we believe breaches these Terms, and may warn, temporarily suspend or permanently close accounts. For serious violations no prior warning may be given. You can appeal our decisions at destek@ravuapp.com.

6. Astrology disclaimer

The daily readings, natal chart interpretations, transit and progressed chart analyses and synastry reports in Ravu are provided for entertainment and self-reflection. They make no claim to scientific prediction. Nothing in Ravu is medical, legal, financial or psychological advice, and nothing replaces the opinion of a qualified professional. Decisions you make about your health, money, relationships or legal situation are your own responsibility; for important decisions please consult an expert in the relevant field.

Chart calculations depend on the birth date, time and place you enter; wrong or incomplete details produce a wrong chart. Minor differences in astronomical calculations are possible.

7. Premium subscriptions

Ravu Premium unlocks transit mode, progressed chart mode, the detailed synastry report and detailed planet readings. Monthly, 6-month and yearly plans are offered; the yearly plan includes a 3-day free trial. Prices are shown in your local currency in the App Store or Google Play at the time of purchase.

• Auto-renewal: the subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends, and the fee is charged to your store account.
• Free trial: if you do not cancel before the trial ends, the yearly fee is charged. One trial per Apple/Google account; store rules apply.
• Cancellation: you can cancel at any time through the App Store (Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions) or Google Play (Payments & subscriptions). Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period; Premium stays active until then.
• Refunds: because payments are processed entirely by Apple and Google, refund requests are made to the respective store and are subject to its policies. Ravu cannot issue refunds directly.
• Price changes: if the price changes, the store notifies you in advance; the new price applies only with your consent or to the extent the store's rules allow.

Premium is tied to the store account used for the purchase and carries across devices as long as you sign in with the same Ravu account.

8. Intellectual property

The Ravu name, logo, interface design, interpretation texts, software and all content (except user content) belong to Adem Özmermer and are protected by intellectual property law. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy the app, reverse-engineer or decompile it, or extract and redistribute the interpretation texts in bulk.

9. Acceptable use

You must use the app and its API only through the official Ravu client and for its intended purpose. Accessing it with automated tools (bots, scrapers), exceeding rate limits, circumventing security measures, attempting to access other people's accounts, overloading the service or uploading harmful content is prohibited. If you find a security vulnerability, we ask you to report it to destek@ravuapp.com without exploiting it.

10. Termination

You can close your account at any time with Settings → Delete account; deletion becomes final after the 30-day grace period. We may suspend or close your account if you breach these Terms, where the law requires it, or if the service is discontinued. Termination creates no right to a refund for a paid subscription period beyond what the store's policies provide. The intellectual property, limitation of liability and governing law clauses survive termination.

11. Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability

Ravu is provided "as is" and "as available". We give no express or implied warranty that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose, or that the readings will be accurate. We are not responsible for the content or conduct of other users.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ravu and its developer are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or punitive damages (including loss of profit, data or reputation) arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app. In any event our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Ravu Premium in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Statutory rights you hold as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract are unaffected.

12. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes that materially affect your rights will be announced inside the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new Terms; if you do not agree, you can close your account.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The Courts and Enforcement Offices of Gaziantep have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms. As a consumer, your right to apply to the consumer arbitration committee or consumer court of your place of residence is unaffected.
